Sabah, located at the northern tip of 3rd world largest island covers an area of approximately 75,000 sq. km. Offers an astonishing diversity of people cultures, natures, adventures & and wildlifes which attract many visitors. The Borneo island is surrounded by South China Sea at western coast, Sulu Sea at northern coast & and Celebes Sea at eastern coast which creates a natural protection against typhoon. Based on Pigfetta logbook, in 1521 the fleet of Ferdinand Magellan had visited the Brunei kingdom. That time, Sabah was ruled by the Sultan of Brunei until 19th century. On the 16th September 1963, Sabah (formerly known as the British North Borneo Crown Colony 1946-1963) gained independence by joining the formation Federation of Malaysia.
